This is a close-up of my sake set named Feelings. The little matching glasses all have names too as follows: Blithe, Quiescent, Fury, Happiness, Sorrow. A nice range of emotions. In case anyone would like to know Blithe means happy and lighthearted. Quiescent is to be tranquilly at rest.
One of my favorite things to make are sake sets and shot glasses. I have found it to be quite a challenge to make a set of anything wheel-thrown. Getting things all the same size is a lot harder than i thought it would be. So i like the challenge.
This is in the Spot the Pot shop if you would like to see more pictures of this item.
Cheers, rabbit

wonderful composition and great shot! not to mentioned that you have such great imagination in giving your creations names! now that you have sake cups done - how about some Japanese tea ceremony bowls set named Peace with indivdual bowl names such as Harmony, Unity, Togetherness, Forgiveness, Selflessness, Otherness and Openness? :)

@kairospix: I shall consider such a task. Although i could see someone making a purchase of them just to eat out of... humm would that be improper? I suppose only if they were suppose to be used for a tea ceremony. Thank you for the idea.
Nice simple composition and neat lighting!

Mmmm , sake, a wonderful drink and wonderful capture Rabbit. The warmth of the earth tones you've chosen for the set fit the warmth one gets from the drink.

Well done. Those are so pretty. I love the earthiness of them. The colors are quite pleasing. My mom always fancied these colors in pottery and seeing these takes me back.

An attractive image with warm colours and delightful curves. (You remind me that I haven't had sake for quite a while!)

Very very nice set, wonderful DOF used again... I love the background that you have used, match the subject perfectly! One question i have though, how did u going about choosing the name for the glasses? Challenges, you must be also a very strong person , just like the way u love challenges for tough creation of ur pottery!

@Anthony: The way i choose names for my work depends on what is going on around me. The names for this set of glasses & sake holder were chosen from a CD i was listening to. The name of the CD is Protection and the glasses are named after some of the songs.
Very nicely named, made, and photographed Rabbit; you are a Renaissance woman with all these great talents! Congrats!

Excellent clay work and photo, love the colors. You are inspiring as I have always wanted to create with clay on a wheel. Ever since a short lived experience in High School I have wanted to work with clay. Wonderful that you integrate your pottery with photography.
