Swank

This close-up is of a shot glass titled Swank. It holds a good 2oz shot - perfect to give to any friends whom may be a bit of a show-off as if the title were not fitting enough ;)

This is half dipped in Red Shino and has some oxidation on it which changes the color to a smokey gray the other half is Cornflower Blue.

So yesterday i worked a bit more on my pin-hole camera, i need some supplies though as i was making the lens (from a soda can) i need some black duck tape, cork, really fine sandpaper, and some black flat foam. That means a trip to the store after work.

This little guy is in the Spot the Pot shop as well.

@Shakara: Yes, i am making a pin-hole camera out of clay! I had started one early here in this photo - however due to my slippery hands this happened :-( So i had to start over.

Superb details shown in this macro shot, good that u kept everything in detail this round and i would say it works well for this shot ;)
cannot wait to see your pin-hole camera.....
by the way, how your fingers? they should be more or less fully healed?

@Anthony: All better ;D i would say my left finger still feels funny - like its numb at the tip, but it doesn't hurt & it's all healed up with just a little scar.

I am enjoying your close-ups of ceramics. The glazing combines precision in the color transitions with organic variations of shades and textures for a very appealing effect. The red peeking out in the background makes this shot for me.
