Hi there - you may remember i was cutting a fresh garden tomato on this plate in an earlier post of which i also gave the recipe for this tasty dish. Well here is the finished open-faced sandwich - YUM!
I did however use a different cheese here - because i was all out of my favorite sharp cheddar (oh the tragedy) i used smoked provolone on half and the other half i used pepper jack!
So the title of this plate is, This loneliness just wont leave me alone. I may have to make another one of these sandwiches today after seeing this picture again.
running off into the kitchen, rabbit

How do you compose such beautiful shots. Just the right amount of underexposure to set off the scrumptious looking sandwich which is reminding that i am suppose to be having lunch at the moment. I am not very good at identifying cheese, so don't feel insulted if i say that those both cheese looks really gooey and tasty. Definitely one of those moments to savor.

Great study. It shows how much great photography and art can come from looking at the commonplace in a different way.

dear Rabbit! I must say this is a most poignant image and title....that dark backdrop really brings this out! And yet this is really such a YUMMY sandwich with such beautiful clours and textures!! I feel so torn between the two...I think I shall definitely settle for the YUMMY & colourful sandwich!! :)

Maybe before putting such a tasty looking sandwich on your plate... you may want to wash the greenish stuff growing on it. Just a thought really.
