Protection IIPosted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 5 September 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual. Try not to get sucked into the black hole - said with a deep TV voice-over announcer tone. This is a wheel-thrown bottle named Protection II. i suppose it would make a splendid bottle for the keeping of a comforting brew of some sort. ~15 It stands about yo wide by about yo tall <giving measurements with my hands as this statement is said> I thought it may be fun to really see how pretty the colors are on some of the glazes i use. Pictured here is Red Shion (the nice orange color) with Cornflower Blue half dipped and some splatters. I like the carefree look of splashes - so a lot of my pieces have a nice little splash of a contrasting glaze on them. This handy dandy little guy is available in the Spot the Pot Shop Cheers,
