... zzz ...zzz
So for all of you who visited earlier all i had written for this one were the Zs at the top - my apologies for being so tired as to not inform you a little bit about this pic. This is me with one of my cool plates - this one is titled: This loneliness just wont leave me alone. ~gift
I'm cutting up a lovely garden tomato, so much better than store bought that i can't even imagine when the end of summer is here going back to purchasing one of thoes not so good tomatoes.
I'm about to make an open faced sandwich - which i believe someone told me this is French style (they gave it a name but i can not remember what it was)
Recipe: Sliced - Tomatoes, Herbs(oregano or basil works great with this) Cheese (any kind works great i'm a fan of sharp cheddar so that's what i usually use) and Bread (i will be using a wheat hoagie style roll)
Pre-heat oven 350 - or your toaster oven (which works brilliant for this) place roll on cookie sheet. Cover with tomato slices, then sprinkle with your herbs, finally cover with the cheese. Then toast in the oven for about 10 minutes - toaster oven is usually a bit faster so keep an eye on them after 7 minutes... until you know how long it takes to harden your bread a bit. I usually open the oven and touch the bread and see how stiff it is.
Well i hope you enjoy this if you plan on trying out this simple but VERY tasty lunch.
Cheers rabbit

Lovely colors and nice capture of ur action in cutting the tomato. Ur composition almost taken my notice away from ur plate which is one of ur main lead in the foto i guess... U are very creative in ur pottery art!

@Anthony: <giggling> well yes and no on my main subject always being my pottery. I do try to make an emphasis on my works but sometimes i find its just fun to see it there somewhere and not be the focus of my capture. Sometimes life needs to be focused on and not just work ;D
mmmmm....that looks and sounds way fresh and yummy, Rabbit! Garden tomatoes are the best, methinks. :) Thank you for that lovely handy, quick to cook, scrummy to eat recipe. Definitely something we can try for our time-short home. :)
