Last night i was thinking how much love & patience (how do you take a picture of patience?) i would need to help my mom with her new computer. EEEEK is the thought that comes to mind when ever i think of my mom and the creepy internet. Of course not our holy corner with all these wonderful photos... but you know what i'm talking about. Thoses sneaky pop-ups that are out of nowhere & for soemone whos not fimilar with it - just innocently clicking on it, i shutter at the thought.
You have to know this lovely lady has no idea the difference between the title bar and the address bar, nor the description of window or page (as far as computers go) Its very hard she has poor eyesight & she does not know how to type. She used to but its been quite a while since shes typed anything.
So i choose todays image because i had to keep reminding myself to have lots of love & patience. This is a Sake set of 5 shot glasses & Sake holder tilted Meteorology the glasses have these names: Hail, Rain, Snow, Sunshine, and Cloudy. As you can see i was trying to be more creative in taking just a simple "mug shot" of my piece. Its SOOOOOO boring to do that - i wish i could submit this to GRAD school as my portfolio slide ;D Anyway i was shuffling them about and noticed a cute shape starting to form and thought SWEET thats just toooo cute (if you can't tell i'm all about cute)
What was that you asked - its it for sale? oh yes this one is you may find it in me little shop - Spot the Pot
Cheers, have a wonderful day - full of all the dreams Sake will give you once you pass out from drinking tooooo much :D

You are a wonderful story teller there Rabbit ..... I was thinking your shape was an ear at first but I think perhaps it is half a heart ..... You can definitely tell that your pottery is your PASSION, you put so much effort into it and creativity ...... really like the colors in this set , I like the fact that the cups don't match but somehow you pull it all together and YOU make it WORK !!! ..... Brilliant , Brilliant !!!

As the family technical support person, I understand waht you're saying. The calls I get to my parents and in-laws are sometimes unbelievable....so good luck with that!

Great story, Rabbit. This is a wonderful still life--I love the arrangement, the juxtapostions, and the colors. Very nice composition!

Cool story. Cut your mom some slack; us old folks are able to do a lot -- we may be slow, but with patience we catch on to a lot of stuff pretty quick. But she may have to do it her way and at her pace.
Your sake cups look like they could be half a valentine, or less romantic -- mirror images of a question mark, a comma, or the number 7.

I know a certain Pink Haired Girl who drank too much and passed out on the carpet this weekend... Hmmm... I don't think there was any sake involved.
