So this is the picture i was trying to take the day before yesterday when i soon fell asleep right in my pottery magazine holding my mug and the camera. Even tho you see both of my hands in this picture - i took the camera off the tri-pod a few snaps after this one, trying out some different angles. The mug you see here is named Champane Valley - and yes i spelled Champagne wrong. Well thats typical of me.
This cute little mug has some swooshes made on the side by the found comb i mentioned in an earlier post. I've glazed this in David's Blue, Pinky's Pink, and Plum.

This is an excellent work...this effect with the radial soft draught is very good.

Nice blurring effect. One suggestion though, since the mug is the main subject, it should be the one in focus?

@Anthony: ahhh - yes you are correct in that IS what i usually do. is keep that in focus - i was trying to go for the Holga/pinhole look where it looks all blurry on the ousides of the photo and gets clear in the middle. It was a hard choice to not keep the cup in foucs. I think due to lack of sleep i was getting super tired at this point tooo so that could mean i was less fussy with the photo. Thank you for thinking of keeping my main subject in focus ;) i don't mind any suggestions. Cheers - have a GREAT day!
An original looking image. There's a suggestion above that the mug could have been in focus. Before reading it, I was thinking that the hand without the mug could have been the focus point. All a matter of opinion, I suppose, as it's still good as it is.
