Just a bathroom

This shot was exposed on WWPD - yes April of last year. Talk about going into the archives. None the less I saw this one not posted and decided to give it a go as a start to the New Year. This was a 13 hour exposure.

I have not posted in quite some time and I do feel bad about that - I miss my photo friends so much. I had a bit of a muck on luck. First my printer would not print a satisfactory bw print to save my soul and then within 3 months I had 2 backup hard drives die and a CD burner! UGH the hassles of electronic devices.

It took me at least 6 months to finally decided on a printer. It arrived a couple days ago - and so far I'm VERY PLEASED! Oh thank goodness - a printer that produces photos without costing 2 arms and 2 legs too... There were many requirements that also made finding a printer difficult - such as quality vs cost. Oh and if you ever read reviews on printers, at least 1/2 are bad reviews, which also makes a very challenging quest for finding the right printer to meet ones needs.

So what printer did I go with after all this mumbo jumbo talk? Its going to surprise any of you Professional/Amateur photographers and Graphic Designers. I went with an hp - WHAT!! you may exclaim not an Epson or Canon?! No Epson with as wonderful as I know your prints would be, there were far too many reviews over how expensive replacing the ink was AND the headaches many people have had once they do replace the ink - where the new cartridges were not read properly and so on... last thing I needed was to purchase a BRAND NEW HEADACHE. So after the MANY months of diligent research, I stumbled across the hp B8550 - there was one up from this one too that was even nicer, but I had a budget in mind. So far I printed a boat-load of test comparison shots and I'm SUPER HAPPY with the results.

Printing again,
rabbit
